The room I stayed in was brand-new and stocked with lovely comfy beds, decent TV and all other normal facilities. Location: the hotel was adjacent to pubs and restaurants and shops, the bar / restaurant and the center of Kendal.

We had a really nice stay for one night as a stopover. the staff was pleasant and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed its continental breakfast. the hotel had a central position close enough to the bus terminal, train station, and the shops, restaurants, and bars.

Situated close to the city centre, great breakfast buffet, typical Premier Inn room with ingenious mattress. Very friendly staff at breakfast.
Parking costs money and is not sufficient for the number of guests. The filter coffee from thermos flasks at breakfast was very thin. In other Premier Inns you can tap your own coffee from the vending machine. In the room there were some spots on the wall that needed to be repainted (water damage?).

Staff very helpful, central location in the town, good eating facility linked to the hotel
Possible problems with restricted parking although we were very lucky when stayed, taking the last space available on both days

The breakfast spread was excellent with a wide variety of options, except for one morning when it was a bit crowded due to a biker group. the room was comfortable and had air conditioning, which was a plus as it was the only room on my floor that couldn't have its window opened. the cleaners did a great job, even changing the sheets on the last night. the facilities were impressive for a Premier Inn, comparable to others I've stayed in across the country. the room had plenty of lights and convenient switches by the bed.
Felt like home, no reason to complain.

I thought the hotel was very central and the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet with everthing available that you needed.
The only problem we encountered was the parking facilities, there were only a very small amount of spaces for such a large hotel, this didn't bother us too much as there was ample parking across the road in the council car park but a family with young children and luggage would find this difficult.

The position of the hotel was excellent - placed within the town, but at one end of it. This made it easy to explore the town. The hotel and rooms were very comfortable. The air-conditioning a little cold, but it was easy to turn off. We were at one end of the hotel, which meant a bit of a trek to get down to reception, etc. Would have appreciated being nearer the centre of the building. Were able to park outside (public car-parking). The continental breakfast was very good, and our evening meal a bit pub-foodish, but very adequate. Altogether a very good stay. Would be happy to visit Kendal/Premier Inn again.

This hotel is in a prime location, very close to the town centre, which makes it convenient for exploring the local area. It's also in the heart of the pricey Lake District, perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with extra bedding provided upon request. the staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast options are varied and delicious, offering great value for money. the hotel also has a pub attached, offering good prices for meals.
One downside is the car park, which is not owned by the hotel and can sometimes be full, requiring guests to find alternative parking.
